Bluecoat Chambers

Bluecoat ChambersSituated in the heart of the city, with elegant Queen Anne style architecture, cobbled front courtyard and beautiful ‘secret garden’, the Bluecoat Chambers is one of Liverpool’s most distinctive buildings, and at nearly 300 years old, is the oldest building in the city centre. Originally starting its life as a school, the widely revered UNESCO World Heritage and Grade 1 listed arts centre now uses its unique spaces to showcase talent across visual art, music, dance, live art and literature. It also houses a creative community of artists and businesses and runs a program of events and workshops.
